Belgian M 1889 sabre bayonet for Fortress Artillery and Gendarmerie. Unit marked. (ABCN1618-1)(K 438)(JN 0)

Belgian Gendarmerie and Fortress Artillery M 1889 Mauser carbine Cal. 7.65. Serial number: 25416 on crossguard. Excellent very long straight bright finished fullered blade with Belgian inspection marking; Crown  HF in a trilob on the ricasso and a V in a box. Blade spine is marked with a V in a box.The top of the blade shows some light user spurs only. Excellent+ bright finished pommel and crossguard with forward swept quillon. Qullion with final and muzzle ring MRD 17,3 mm. Right crossguard is marked: U in a circle (= Unit marking:  5th. Fortress Artillery Regiment, Liege. ) Finial is marked: V in a box. Excellent wooden grips secured by bolts.
Excellent blackened metal scabbard without dents. Scabbard is marked: 1134.
