Belgian M 1882 Civil Guard bayonet.Unit marked. (ABCN1541)(K 430)(JN16-1)

Belgian Comblain M 1882 Civil Guard rifle. Serial number: 14374 on crossguard  Fantastic bright finished T-shape blade marked: LD and a S in a diamant shape on the blade spine. Bright finished pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring: MRD 17.1 . T-slot in pommel. Mortise is marked twice with a S in a circle. Forward swept quillon marked on both sides of the ferule: T and B. Crossguard is unit marked: 233 K (K = Civil Guard district: Sint-Jans Molenbeek (Groupe Sint Gillis) and serial number on the reverse side. Belgium inspection mark: Crown over AF over 3 in an oval facing the blade. Excellent wooden grips fixed to the blade tang by two steel rivets. Large screwed on external spring.
Excellent and correct blued steel scabbard with small olive shaped frog stud. Scabbard is also unit marked: K over 63. No dents.
