Belgium M 1889 infantry short bayonet.( ABCN399-1)(K116)(JN17-2)
Belgian FN Mauser M 1889 Infantry carbine. Serial number: U 6386 on the crossguard. Very good bright finished fullered blade, marked: Crown over HF in a trilob on the ricasso. Blade spine is marked with a N in a box. Blade shows fine staining and light peppering all over. Excellent bright finished T-slotted pommel and crossguard with forward swept guillon. Serial number on the crossguard and a capital I (= 9th Line Regiment)on the reverse side. MRD 17.5 mm. Excellent wooden grips secured by two screw bolts and washers to the blade tang.
Excellent blackened scabbard with no dents.
