Swiss M 1906 bayonet by S.J.G. NEUHAUSEN. (ABC N 1313-2) ( K 388) (JN 185-NOTE)

Schmidt-Rubin  M 1911 carbine. Serial number: 7493 on crossguard. Superb long bright finished 49 teeth sawback blade with a fuller on one side. Swiss maker's name; S.J.G. Neuhausen on ricasso. Bright finished pommel and crossguard. MRD bushed to 14 mm to fit M 1911 carbine only. Beautiful wooden grips riveted to tang with 2 large bright rivets. 
It comes with an excellent light brown leather scabbard as found with no serieus dents to the bright finished fittings. Top fitting with intact leather tab. 
Chape with four horizontal lines. This is one of the many scabbard variations seen with this model.
Comes with its dark brown frog with no markings as found.

Transitional and experimental model. Made of a much smaller and less heavy hilt than of the M 1914 (see pict7)and the blade of a M 1878-1887 Vertelli model (no swollen tip).
Quite a rare example.
