Swiss M 1863 Ordnance socket bayonet (ABCN1008-1)(K315)(JN184-1)
M1863-M1867-M1869 Ordonnance carbines and rifle and M 1867 Peabody rifle. No serial number. Excellent long blued cruciform blade, tapered to the tip. Z type mortise slot with locking ring. Locking ring is marked: 17 Shank is marked with a L in circle and W in a circle on the reverse side. MRD 18,7
Excellent and correct tooled black leather scabbard with a leather tab marked with a round inspection marking. Internal round steel chape and all stitches intact.
Intact leather scabbards for this model are quite scarce.
Total length: 55 cm.
