Schmidt-Rubin M 1889/89-96/96/11. Serial number: 454565 on crossguard. Excellent+ bright finished fullered blade with Swiss maker's name: WAFFENFABRIK NEUHAUSEN in two lines on the ricasso. Type II with bar in fuller. Excellent bright finished pommel and crossguard (MRD 15 mm). Excellent + wooden grips, riveted to the tang with two large steel rivets.
Excellent blued scabbard with leather strap and no dents. Excellent and correct brown leather frog with faint maker's name.
