"Nederlands Ceremonieel Politie officiers sabel rond 1935./ Dutch Ceremonial Police chief officers sword around 1935. Excellent++ chromium plated straight M 1897 infantry officers style pipe back blade. Intact brown leather washer. German makers Logo: Sword in an H (= E. u.F. Hörster & Co. - Solingen on the ricasso. Excellent++ chromium plated detachable M 1876 cavalry officers sword style hand guard:  plated steel guard with knuckle bow, three side bars and a forward swept quillon. The pommel and the round black composition grip with a complex brass wire winding, are in style of the Dutch M 1897 infantry officers sword 
Excellent chromium plated scabbard with a single loose hanging ring and no serieus dents. The scabbard is missing its throat. Hence the price!
Comes with its genuine Dutch M 1855 infantry officers sword knot as found.  Acorn shape with plated steel stem and crown. Acorn head made out of multiple rows of bullion wire. Orange core and a black cord. 

Total length: 100 cm. Width at the ricasso: 3.0 cm.
