"Nederlands Mariniers officiers sabel M 1854"./ Dutch Marine officers sword. M 1854. Minty bright polished long curved fullered blade with German maker's logo, E. &. F. HÖRSTER- SOLINGEN on the ricasso. Intact black leather washer. Beautiful detachable gilt brass hilt with a single knuckle bow. Black composite one piece grip with an intact complex twisted silver wire winding. Minty nickel plated metal scabbard with no dents and two loose hanging rings.
Comes with its correct Marine silver colored sable knot with an orange core.
Beautiful example. Total length 93 mm. Width at the ricasso: 22 mm.
