Excellent+ highly curved bright finished fullered light etched blade. The blade etching shows floral motives, military trophies etc. on both sides of the blade. The Dutch retailers name: J. F. SEGERS & ZOON - BREDA - EISENHAU crisp on the blade spine. Intact black leather washer.
Excellent+ bright finished Berlin-Silver hilt with a stirrup hand guard and a forward swept quillon. Excellent ribbed wooden grip covered with ray skin missing the silver wire winding only.
Crossguard with languets on both sides. Back of the hilt with "ears" fixed to the hilt by a pin.
Excellent+ Berlin-Silver scabbard with two loose hanging rings. No serieus dents to the scabbard.
Total length: 94 cm. Width at the ricasso: 3 cm.
This is the officers version of the famous "Blucher type"sword. Lighter and very well made.
