Argentine made M 1909 Infantry short sword. Serial number: G 05464. Matching! on the crossguard. Excellent+ bright finished plain bolo blade with the rare Argentine makers name:  IDUSTRIA - ARGENTINA -J. C. SUAREZ y CIA  in a circle on the right ricasso. A very faint Argentine Crest on the reverse side. Excellent bright finished pommel  Bright finished crossguard with short symatric quillons. Excellent wooden grips secured to the blade tang with two rivets.
Excellent- blackened standard steel scabbard with an oval frog stud and some very small dents only due to a bad storage. Matching serial number: G 05464

Rare Argentine maker as most are made by Weyersberg-Kirschbaum -Solingen. Germany for the Argentine Artillery. This infantry short sword is seldom encountered!
