US Navy dummy M 1903 training rifle. Serial number: NORD-3066. Excellent+ black plastic plain blade with a steel core and a bright finished ricasso. Ricasso with US maker's trademark; B.M.Co and VP (= Beckwith Manufacturing Company of Dover, Victoria Plastics, New Hamspshire ) very crisp on the ricasso. The reverse side is marked; USN over MARK1. Excellent black plastic pommel and crossguard. MRD 15,5 mm. Minty ribbed black bakelite grips. Working catch.
Excellent olive drab fiberglass M3 Navy scabbard with US belt hook made by Beckwith Manufacturing Company of Dover, New Hamspshire. marked BN-3-0 on the steel belt hook. The steel top mount marked: U.S.N MK1. 

These were made for the US Navy in 1943 as a training bayonet for the Dummy M 1903 training rifle.
