Indonesian TNI made Dutch M 1911 cutlass (Klewang)(Ref: Book Klewang J.P. Puipe. Page 198)

"Indonesisch (TNI) gemaakte Nederlandse Marechaussee klewang M 1911 No.1. / Indonesian made (TNI) Dutch M 1911 No.1 Marechaussee klewang/cutlass" Serial number:  λ 2033 λ and a 5-point star (Star mark = symbol of the TNI )on the ricasso. Excellent ++ bright finished  klewang blade with a clip point.  Wide open, hand made, blackened steel hand guard also showing the serial number: 2030. Excellent wooden scales fixed to the blade tang by three large steel rivets. Top of the hilt with a nut screw. 
Excellent+  M 1898 tooled flexible  brown leather scabbard. All stitches intact. Long M 1931 black painted steel chape  fixed by a single steel staple each side to the leather body. Scabbard throat is reinforced by a black painted steel clip riveted to the leather throat. Leather body is marked: 121 over M A underneath the Intact leather frog strap.

These Indonesian  Dutch M 1911 Marechaussee klewangs were made after 1945 in Bandoeng  by the TNI ( = Tentara Nasional Indonesia = Indonesian National Army)
This is a very well made example in an Excellent + condition.
