German NCO bayonet Faustriemen Heer. (George Wheeler. Page 293 Top)
German Heer NCO bayonet "Faustriemen". Infantry (Heer) Used in WWI and WWII. After 1936 this model was used by NCO's of the cavalry and mounted artillery units. Green leather fist belt was once broken but has been nicely repaired and is hard to see. No slide. The crown is constructed of twisted green cord with an alloy silver wire interwoven into it. The closed ball is aluminium and the insert into the bottom of the ball is a section of the green and alloy. Green core. The entire faustriemen shows wear but is still very collectable.
This model was also used with NCO swords.
Very good example!
Not a copy, genuine example.
