Mauser M98 rifle. Excellent bright finished fullered long blade. German maker's name: SAMSON WERK on the ricasso. German inspection mark crisp on blade spine Excellent bright finished pommel and crossguard. T-O slot in pommel and crossguard without a muzzle ring. Pommel shows a German inspection marking. Excellent wooden grips riveted to the blade tang. Oil hole in grips. No flash guard.
Excellent blackened steel ersatz scabbard with no serieus dents.
