French M 1886 Lebel bayonet belt frog only. (AC235-236)

Excellent black leather French M 1886 Lebel rifle belt frog. Excellent+ black leather bayonet belt frog for the M 1886 Lebel bayonet with quillon. Double pair of belt loops attached by two "V-shaped stitching pairs". Front with an extended side for the quillon is attached by two parallel lines of stitching and has a retaining strap with a steel buckle. All stitches intact and flexible leather. 

The same pattern frog, but with a wider front was made for the French M 1874 Gras bayonet. (AC221)
