English No.5 MK1 bayonet, 2nd model bayonet by W.S.C. - S294. (ABCN160-1)(K34)(JN62-2)

British 303 No.5 Jungle carbine MK1 and MK2. Excellent bright finished fullered blade with a Bowie tip. First 2 cm. are blackened. British makers dispersal code and trademark : S294 and W.S.C. (= Wilkinson Sword Company) in two rows on the ricasso. Reverse side is faint marked with a  broad arrow; /I\, X and an Enfield inspection marking. Blackened pommel with circular mortise slot and clearance hole.  The  Excellent wrap around 2 parts wooden grip secured by two screw bolts. Blackened crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 22.5 
Excellent early blackened dents free MK1 scabbard.
