English No.5 MK1 bayonet, 2nd model bayonet by Radcliff. (ABCN160-1)(K34)(JN62-2)

British 303 No.5 Jungle carbine MK1 and MK2. Minty parkerized fullered blade with Bowie tip. First 4 cm. are blackened. British makers dispersal code: N 187 (= Radcliff) ) crisp on the ricasso.  Blackened pommel with circular mortise slot and clearance hole. Pommel is fixed to the blade tang by two rivets. The mortise is marked: M50 55 and L.(=?) reverse side of the pommel shows a large /I\. Excellent wrap around 2 parts wooden grip secured by two screw bolts. Blackened crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 22.5 
Minty blackened dents free MK1 scabbard.
Comes with its Minty and genuine P 1944 jungle belt frog. Two loops on one site and a retaining loop. Eyelet for No. 4 bayonet.  Reverse side is crisp stamped: G.S. Co.1945 /I\ over  catalog number: AF 0261. and /I\ over 113

Excellent+ No.5 set from a scarcer maker. Radcliff production was only 75.000 No.5 bayonets.
