British Lee Metford M 1888 rifle. Serial number : 154. on the pommel. Excellent+ bright finished double edged blade. The ricasso is marked; Crown over VR, 10 '98. The reverse side is maker marked /I\ over EFD (=Enfield) and X plus an Enfield inspection mark: Crown over 58 over E. Excellent bright finished pommel and crossguard. MRD 16,5 mm. Excellent wooden grips fixed with two brass rivets. Grip shows another number in large digits: 4 6 44. Oil hole in grip.
Excellent+ black leather MK1. scabbard with bright finished fittings. All stitches intact and no dents to the fittings.
