English L1A3 bayonet, first model by BSA '64. with rare experimental L3A1 scabbard.(ABCN169)(K511)(JN63-3)

SLR. Semi-automatic rifle L1A1 Cal. 7.62 . Excellent parkerized fullered Bowie type blade with long fuller. First cm blackened. British maker marking B and 64 (=BSA 1964) on the ricasso. Blackened pommel is brazed to the tang and marked:  /|\ B.  T- type mortise slot. L1A1 type crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 14.8. The crossguard is marked facing the blade with a S and a B. Blackened metal grips are both marked /|\ and are riveted to the tang. Both grips are somewhat faint NATO code marked: L1A3 960-0257 B (B = made by BSA - Birmingham Small Arms.) 
Comes with its rare and Minty black plastic experimental L3A1 scabbard with round plastic frog stud. (Ref: Ian Skennerton: Britisch & Commonwealth bayonets, Page 264. bottom. See last picture.)
