Brazilian M 1872 Comblain rifle. Serial number: 12 on top of the pommel. Beautiful bright finished fullered yatagan blade with somewhat blunted tip. Excellent++ very small brass grip with 14 ribs and an external spring on the right side. T-slot in pommel. Flattened pommel. Bright finished crossguard with forward swept quillon with finial and a muzzle ring. MRD 16,5 mm. Mortise slot is marked: 24
No scabbard.
Total length: 43 cm. only!! Blade length: 33,7 cm. Hilt length: 9 cm.
A very little, well made functional bayonet. Not a toy nor a child bayonet. Not often seen!
