Belgian Gendarmerie/ Infantry bayonet belt frog. M 1882 and M 1916.

Belgian Gendarmerie bayonet frog. Number: 6212 stamped on the inside op the loop. Superb flexible black leather Gendarmerie bayonet frog. Forward swept leather loop fixed by a brass button and washer. Open front with a tooled retaining strap and a steel buckle. 
These were used with the M1882 Garde Civique bayonets and the M 1916/17 Gendarmerie and infantry bayonets. These are also find with the long M 1889 sable bayonet. 

Genuine Belgian bayonet frog in a great condition. NOT A COPY.
