Schmidt-Rubin Carbine 1911 cal. 7.54 and M 1931 carbine. Serial number: 768811 on the crossguard. Superb double edged blade with maker's name: ELSENER over SCHWYZ on the ricasso. MINTY bright finished large pommel and crossguard. MRD 14 mm. Wooden grips secured by two steel rivets to the blade tang. Dents free blued metal scabbard with leather strap. Top of the scabbard and throat are both marked with a ℘.
Comes with its genuine and Excellent brown leather bayonet belt frog as found. Reverse side with the frog makers name and residence : R. GLAUG over SATTLEREI over RINGGENBERG
