Argentine M 1909 Infantry short sword. Serial number: G 03676. on the crossguard. Excellent+ bright finished plain bolo blade with the rare Argentine makers name:  IDUSTRIA - ARGENTINA -J. C. SUAREZ y CIA  in a circle on the right ricasso and the intact Argentine crest over E-A (=Ejectio Argentina= Army infantry) on the reverse side. Excellent bright finished pommel  Bright finished crossguard with short symatric quillons. Excellent wooden grips secured to the blade tang with two rivets.
Very good+ blackened standard steel scabbard with an oval frog stud and several small dents only due to a bad storage. Serial number: P04296

Rare Argentine maker as most are made by Weyersberg-Kirschbaum -Solingen. Germany for the Argentine Artillery. This infantry short sword is seldom encountered!
