German NCO bayonet Faustriemen. Heer (George Wheeler. Page 293 Top)
German Heer NCO bayonet "Faustriemen". Infantry (Heer) Used in WWI and WWII. After 1936 this model was used by NCO's of the cavalry and mounted artillery units. Green leather fist belt and green leather slide. The crown is constructed of twisted green cord with an an aluminium silver wire interwoven into it. The closed ball is aluminium and the insert into the bottom of the ball is a section of the green and aluminium. Green core.
This Faustriemen was also used with NCO swords.
