Romanian M 1892 Artillery knife. Serial number: 2080.C on the right crossguard. Very good- bright finished fullered blade. Left fuller with moderate pitting. Excellent bright finished pommel. Excellent wooden grips fixed to the blade tang by two steel rivets. bright finished straight crossguard with serial number. Left side shows some pitting.
Quite a rare Romanian Artillery knife. Seldom encountered.
Comes with an Excellent blackened WWII M 84/98 scabbard marked: cof 43 and no dents
These are often found in a German M84/98 or an Austrian M 1888 scabbard.
