SLR, Semi-automatic rifle L1A1 Cal. 7.62. First model. Excellent bright finished fullered Bowie type blade. First 1. cm blackened. Ricasso is marked: Ð 60.(= ENFIELD 1960). Blackened pommel, riveted to the blade tang. /I\ and Ð on the pommel. T- type mortise slot. Crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 14.8 mm. and facing the blade marked with C and Ð and /I\.
Black sheet metal grips are riveted to the tang by two hollow rivets. Both grips are crisp NATO code marked: L1A3 9600257 Ð (= made by ENFIELD ).
Excellent and correct blackened steel No. 5 MK1 scabbard with round frog stud and a brass throat. Frog stud is marked: Ð Top of the scabbard is marked : 22. No dents.
