British Enfield 303. No.4 rifle. Serial number: 3807. Excellent blued socket with deep blued round blade. Socket is crisp Belgian marked: No.4 MK2 over Bg (=Belgium) over J (=Belgian inspection marking) over the serial number.) Very sharp bevel.
Excellent blued early No.4 MK1 scabbard with a sink throat with no markings. No dents.
Comes with its scarce green khaki, Belgian modified, No.4 frog, with a small and a large front loop and a sliding retaining loop as found.
Very rare socket bayonet. It differs in details with the English made No.4 and it is believed that in the late 1940 only 7.000 No.4 MK2 bayonets were made by Belgium.
