Very impressive and very heavy Dutch HC troopers sword. The first production line of these swords was made in Solingen-Germany by A. Schimmelbusch and purchased in 1814 by the Dutch King William the First, prior to the battle of Waterloo in 1815 against the French Empire Napoleon Bonaparte
From 1821 till 1830 these Dutch HC swords were made in Belgium by Hanquet in Liege. So, this 1829 dated sword in particular could be used during the Dutch/Belgian conflict of 1830 by both Dutch or Belgian troops!.
A very heavy and rare well marked Dutch HC sword, issued to Heavy Dragoons Regiments (Zware Dragonders/Kurassiers).

This sword was part of the collection of the The Rijksmuseum of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It was sold during an International Auction on June 15, 2020 at Het Venduehuis der Notarissen in The Haque

Very hard to find Dutch sword.! Very collectable even in a less perfect condition.
