Venuzuelan M 1900 bayonet altered by Germany (ABCN569-3) (K0)(JN0)(Anthony Carter Volume III 93a)

German M 1888 Commision rifle. Serial number: 0920 on the crossguard. Excellent+ bright finished fullered blade with no markings. Bright finished pommel and crossguard with a removed hooked guillon and a muzzle ring.  MRD 17,5. Edge of the muzzle ring is milled out to fit the barrel jacket of the M 1888 rifle. The alteration is stamped with a 2 in a diamant shape. T-slot in the pommel.
Excellent wooden grips secured to the blade tang by spanner screws. 
Excellent and correct blackened scabbard with an Austrian style frog stud with no dents.
