Lee Enfield (SMLE) No.1 Mk.II. rifle. Excellent dark blued shortened fullered blade with British maker name; SANDERSON and dated: 3-'15, 1907, Crown over GR. Indian marked: MKI**crisp on the ricasso. De reverse is marked: FR56 (=Indian Factory Repair 1956) and British inspection markings. Fuller is running to the point. Added false edge. Crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 16.5 mm. Minty wooden grips secured with screw bolts. Left grip is marked: 5 /I\ 6 and I. Excellent and correct short Indian made scabbard with blued metal fittings and 3 rivets in the top mount. Round frog stud, all stitches intact and no serieus dents. Leather body is marked R.B.Ltd 1943 and mounts are marked HAK 194.. and a large 5. Chape /I\ and 9
