English No.5 MK1 bayonet, 2nd model bayonet by Poole. (ABCN160-1)(K34)(JN62-2)

British .303 no.5 Jungle carbine MK1 and MK2. Excellent blued fullered blade with Bowie tip. British makers trademark: P. in a Circle (=Poole Arsenal ) and date: 1946 crisp on the ricasso. Blackened pommel with circular mortise slot and clearance hole. Pommel is fixed to the blade tang by two rivets. Pommel top is marked: F3 over B and /I\  and /I\ F5 over B on mortise slot. Excellent- wrap around 2 parts wooden grip secured by two screw bolts. Some user spurs to the wooden grips only. Blackened crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD: 22.5 
Excellent blackened dents free MK1 scabbard with a brass throat. 
Comes with a Minty an genuine  P 1944 jungle belt frog. Reverse side is crisp stamped: B. Ltd. /I\ 1945 over A.F. 0261. and /I\ over 166
