English M 1907 bayonet by EFD, Unit marked to the Army Cyclist Corps. (ABCN1027-1)(K318)(JN57-3)

British Lee Enfield (SMLE) No.7 rifle. Second pattern. Very good- bright finished fullered blade. First 2 cm blackened. Blade with watermarks and pitting. The ricasso is marked with the English makers name: EFD (=Enfield Arsenal) and a Crown over GR over 1907 and is dated: 4 '15 
 2 Enfield inspection marks. Crown over 8R over E,  /I\  and a bend mark X on the reverse side of ricasso.  Excellent- blued pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 16.5 mm. Oil hole in pommel. Pommel is unit marked: 5  13 over 19 DIV over CYL Co over T 50. (= 19th (Western) Divisional Cyclist Company of the Army Cyclist Corps. Territorial Force and Rifle No.50).  Excellent+  walnut wooden grips secured to the blade tang by screw bolts.   
Excellent black leather MKII scabbard. Blued mounts. Top mount with a round frog stud. All stitches intact and no dents to the mounts. 

Armed with standard Lee-Enfield rifles and bayonets and mounted on heavy-duty military bicycles, these men of the Army Cyclist Corps served as the mobile "eyes and ears" of the division headquarters. They were primarily used for coastal defense, reconnaissance, routing, communications, and rapid dispatch riding.
