Nederlands M 1855 onderofficieren, korporaals en manschappen rode sabel kwast./ Dutch M 1855 infantry red sword knot for NCO and troopers. Red woolen sword knot with black cotton cord and red slide.
Troopers sword knot of the Artillery, Engineers, Infantry and Marechaussee. To be carried with Artillery short sword M 1853 (Korte sabel no. 1) Engineers short sword M 1880 (Korte sabel No. 2.) Infantry NCO short sword M 1859 (Korte sabel No. 3) and the Marechaussee klewang M 1898 and further on.
Hard to find genuine sword knot. Not a copy.
