No rifle. Scale model of a Belgian M 1889 FN Mauser infantry rifle bayonet. Excellent bright polished fullered blade. Left fuller is etched: LE PETIT BELGE (= The small country Belgium) Excellent bright polished pommel with a blued working catch and a crossguard with a fast forward swept quillon. Muzzle ring MRD 2,8 mm
Beautiful woorden grips fixed to the blade by blued screw bolts. Excellent blued scabbard with no dents and a commemorative sublimated inscription: 1914 over a Belgian rampant lion over 1916.
Total length of the bayonet without the scabbard: 18,5 cm
