Austro-Hungarian M 1895 NCO dress bayonet by OEWG. (ABC N 307-1) (JN 10-4) (K70)

Austrian Mannlicher M 95 Rifle. Serial number: 89 very faint on the left crossguard. NCO bayonet model, Excellent++ chromium plated fullered blade with the Austrian maker's trademark: OEWG on the ricasso. The Austrian crest on the reverse side. Excellent wooden grips secured to the blade tang by steel rivets. Plated pommel with a working catch and a later added lanyard loop. Crossguard with, also a later added,  NCO hooked quillon and muzzle ring. MRD 15 mm. 
Excellent dents free blackened scabbard.

This is a standard M 1895 Mannlicher infantry bayonet converted to a NCO model by adding a lanyard loop and, very well done, a hooked guillon.
Prob. done at the beginning of WWI when there was a shortage of NCO models.
