The M 1807 No. 1 Dutch infantry troopers short sword was originally a Dutch designed sword. It was only used by a few infantry regiments (Including the Jager Regiments) and it was replaced by the Dutch infantry troopers short sword M 1819. The model saw service during the Napoleonic wars (Quatre-Bras / Waterloo 1815) and the Belgium campaign (10-daagse Veldtocht 1831) and is quite rare!
Very rare Dutch early infantry troopers sword. Not many were ever produced. Hard to find in this exceptional good condition!
