"Nederlands Artillerie Officierssabel M 1876/ 1895" Lange sabel No.1./ Dutch Artillery officers sword M 1876 / 1895. No.1. Excellent long straight fullered bright blade, beautiful deep etched. Blade spine is etched SOLINGEN. The unusual straight blade is deep etched with crossed artillery cannons and a quality control mark: YZERHOUWER on the left side and the Dutch retailers name and residence: W.P.LOOMANS te BREDA on the other side of the blade. Blade spine is etched SOLINGEN. Intact red felt washer. Excellent bright polished steel hilt and hand guard with knuckle bow and two side bars. Excellent wooden grip covered with ray skin and silver wire winding. Very good bright polished steel scabbard with one loose hanging ring and on both sides a small indentation and a single tear only.
