French M 1956 MAS bayonet by E-RM. (ABC N275-1)(K767)(JN76-1)

French MAS 49-56 rifle. No serial number. Excellent+ phosforized long plain blade with long false edge. Black plastic grips fixed to the blade tang by two small spanner bolts. Release catch in hilt. Press stud in blade tang. Muzzle rings on both sides of the grip. MRD 22 mm. Total length 344 mm. Ricasso is marked E-RM. (=Establisment  Regional du Materiel)
Grey phosforized steel scabbard with the profile of the long false edge of the blade. No dents to the scabbard. Brown leather integral frog fixed with four large brass rivets to the scabbard body. Frog with US belt hook and retaining strap. Scabbard is marked: E FF in an oval.

Only 40.000 M 1956 MAS long bladed bayonets were ever made. E-RM is a scarce maker.

Longer blade with longer false edge then FAMAS bayonet.
