Lebel rifle M 1886 and further Lebel models. No serial number. Non military production. Excellent long cruciform blade with a P marking on the ricasso and a L marking on the reverse side. Excellent brass grip, detachable to the blade tang. Made without guillon. Crossguard is marked M in a circle. MRD 15 mm. Square checkered press stud. Excellent blackened scabbard with no dents. Serial number: C 21513
These Lebel M 1886-15 were made without a quillon during WWI. Starting 1915 and the production stopped at the end of the War. This example was made prior to April 11, 1917 when the production of brass hilts stopped.
