Carbine M 1829 T. Superb bright finished fullered yataghan blade. Faint marking on ricasso. Blade spine is marked with makers name and date: Mfr. Imp'ale de Chattelerault, Mai 1874. Excellent brass hilt with short external spring. T-slot in pommel. Beautiful bright finished crossguard with back swept quillon and muzzle ring. MRD 23,5 mm. Excellent blackened metal scabbard with no dents.
Very nice example of a scarce bayonet!
