English No4. MkII Socket bayonet by Singer with rare experimental MkII scabbard(ABCN33)(K3)(JN60-3)
Enfield 303. No.4 rifle. Excellent parkerized socket and round blade made from one piece of steel. Excellent blade tip. Socket is marked very faint No4 MKII and N67 (= Dispersal code for Singer) Reverse is marked Yc306 and there is another marking on the press stud N67. Comes with the rare and experimental MkII steel tubular scabbard made by Franco-British Electical Company, Tempel Park, Hurley, UK. Excellent blued example with one small single dent and alloy throat marked with a W in a circle and /I\. Comes with a MINT P 37 variation khaky frog (AC 162) marked CA1944
The steel MkII tubular scabbard is made by the Franco-British Electrical Company, Tempel Park, Hurley. They only made 25.000 scabbards, all in 1944 (Also see JN 60-3 for the scabbard)
