English No.4 MKI socket bayonet by Singer, cruciform blade and MK1 scabbard. (ABCN32)(K2)(JN60-1)
Lee Enfield 303 No.4 MKI, PM Sten MK5. Excellent+bright finished cruciform spike blade. First cm blackened. Correct makers marking on blued shank; G.- Crown- R. , No.4 MK1 and maker's logo: S M (= Singer Manufacturing of Clydebank, Scotland), /I\ in three lines. Slot is marked SM over '41.
Excellent and correct blued metal MKI scabbard.
Comes with its Excellent and genuine green khaki bayonet frog as found, marked on the revers side: 7693 and an unreadable date.
Rare genuine model. Singer signed a contract on 9th June 1941 for only 75.000 bayonets!
