Semi-automatic rifle L1A1 Cal. 7.62 No s#. Second model. Minty fullered bright finished Bowie type blade with a short fuller. First 2 cm blackened. Enfield marking: Ð69 (= Enfield 1969) on ricasso. Blackened pommel with T- type mortise slot. Straight type crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 14.8 mm. Black metal grips are riveted to the tang by two hollow rivets. Both grips are NATO code marked: L1A3 9600257 Ð69 (= made at ENFIELD).
Minty and correct blued metal no. 5 MK1 scabbard with round frog stud.
Comes with its correct and genuine MINT green nylon SRL bayonet frog as found.
Scarce second model. Blade with short fuller and straight crossguard.
