British M 1907 modified bayonet. Trial bayonet for Australian Owen SMG? (JN 0) (ABC N 245-2) (K 0)n
Australian M 1943 Mk I Owen SMG ?. Excellent parkerized fullered blade shortened to 24,4 cm. First 2,5 cm are blackened and marked Crown GR, 1907 and date: 10 '18 over English maker's name SANDERSON on the ricasso. Reverse side is marked with diverse crisp British inspection markings. Excellent dark parkerized pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 16,5 mm. Excellent wooden grips. MINTY shortened Australian WWII brown leather No.I Mk II scabbard with all stitches intact and top mount with round frog stud and three rivets. Parkerized top mount and chape both marked OA (= Orange Arsenal) Total length of the scabbard: 31,2 mm. (Owen scabbard 29,2 mm)
British Po. 7, clearly converted in Australia. Prob. trial bayonet for the Owen SMG or ersatz Owen bayonet for Korean war.
