Egyptian Remington Rolling block rifle. No serial number. Excellent++ bright finished fullered yataghan blade with German maker's trade mark; A-Scales-C (= Alexander Coppel - Solingen) on ricasso and a Z in a circle on the reverse ricasso. Excellent brass ribbed hilt with external spring fixed with a rivet. Pommel is marked EP (= Egyptian Police) Typical chamfered Remington slot. Bright crossguard with quillon and muzzle ring (MRD 18.3 m). Right side of the crossguard shows an Egyptian marking?. Quillon shows two inspection markings: Z in a circle and a capitol B .
Excellent 590 mm long plated steel scabbard with no dents and no markings.
EP marked Egyptian Remington bayonets are not common.
