Turkish M 1916 bayonet, German marked. (ABC N 393-1)(K 808) (JN 193-1)

Turkish Mauser 1903, cal 7.65. Excellent bright finished plain blade with first 5 mm blackened. Excellent all metal hilt with T-slot in pommel. Pommel is unusual marked with a very crisp German Gothic inspection marking. Crossguard with a slight step in the muzzle ring, marked with the Turkish half moon and star crest. Excellent blued scabbard with a round finial and a round frog stud. No dents.

This model is said to be newly made in Turkey and it should not be a German made ersatz bayonet, but this example bears a crisp German inspection marking indicating : Made in Germany!
