Dutch/ Belgian M 1841 socket bayonet (ABCN921-2)(K282)(JN0)

European Weapon systems 1822- 1842  Socket bayonet. Serial number: 24 on ricasso.  Excellent bright finished French type M 1822 blade. Serial number and a Dutch/ Belgian inspection marking; Crown over LT crisp on the ricasso. Another tiny inspection marking on the right shank: Crown over F. Fastener ring is marked: DT. Excellent French type short socket with a Z mortise slot.
MRD 21,5 cm. Total length: 525 mm.

This bayonet model was inspired by the French M 1822 socket bayonet. Is was made both in the Netherlands and Belgium.
