Norwegian M 1916 shortened bayonet (ABCN256-1 / ABCN768)(K247)(JN151-3)

Krag Jorgensen M 1912 rifle and M 1925 rifle. Serial number: 131113 Matching!. Very good bright finished shortened plain blade with Norwegian makers logo Crown over K (=Kongsberg Arsenal) and the Cypher of King Haakon 7th. on the ricasso and two crisp inspection markings on the reverse side. Blade spine is marked crown over 5.  Excellent bright finished hilt with locking catch close to the crossguard. T-slot in pommel. Excellent wooden grips fixed by a single screw to the hilt.
Excellent blackened shortened scabbard with no dents, marked with a matching serial number 

This rare M 1916 bayonet was shortened by Germany during WWII.
