German M 1898/05 nA bayonet. Double maker marked by H.MUNDLOS & Co. - MAGDENBURG. & GEBR.HARTKOPF - SOLINGEN..(ABCN806)(K258)(JN86-3)

German Mauser M 1898 Rifle and Carbine. Excellent bright finished fullered blade. Blade spine is marked W over '17 and a Gothic inspection marking. Ricasso is double maker marked on the ricasso by two German makers. On the right side there is the trade mark and name of: H.MUNDLOS & CO. over MAGDEBURG and on the left side  GEBR. - HARTKOPF - SOLINGEN in three rows on the ricasso. 
Excellent blued pommel, crossguard, quillon and a dents free flash guard. No German inspection marking on the pommel! Excellent+ ribbed black walnut grips secured to the blade tang by screw bolts. Oil hole in grip. T-O slot in pommel.
Excellent blackened standard scabbard with no dents. 

 Double maker marked M 98/05 bayonets are scarce.
