German M 1884/98 bayonet, Third model, WWII by E.u.F. Horster '40. (ABCN455-1)(K143)(JN100-2)

Mauser K98. Serial number: 6995 over i on the ricasso. Excellent fullered blued blade with German makers makers name: E. u. F. Horster  and the date 1940 crisp on the blade spine.  Reverse side with serial number. Excellent blued pommel and crossguard. Excellent+ flash gard and two German WaA Waffenambt markings on the pommel. Excellent black bakelite grips, secured to the tang by two screw bolts.
Excellent (not matching) maker and dated blued steel scabbard: Coppel G.m.h.H. over 1940 (= Alexander Coppel- Solingen) 1940)  and serial number: 3912 over e. No dents to the scabbard.
